Growing apart

You were there when I was down,
You were there to wipe away those tears,
You were there to hold my hand,
You were there to show me the way..

But now I am lost,
I can not find my way,
I hide my face in pain,
I speak my thoughts in vain..

Where is this going?
This can't be the end,
I need to hold on,
We need to stay here, together

Till the end of time,
Till death do us apart,
Wasn't this what we promised,
But now we are moving..

Far apart,
Distances speak,
But not so loud,
I can not hear you anymore..

I wish I could relive,
The moments of bliss,
The endless echos of laughter,
The beauty of just being there with you..

It is tough,
Saying goodbye,
But tougher,
To grow apart..
